QUESTION: “I am currently attempting to stop smoking and having a hard time. Do you have any suggestions as to what stone/crystal/minerals would help me on this most difficult journey?
Thank you for any information.”
MY ANSWER: Congrats on working on it! It’s a tough thing to do. Smoking is an addiction just like any other drugs (nicotine!) or alcoholism, and I think, more insidious because you can buy cigarettes most any time of day. So… stones for addictions and compulsive behavior would be the ones to go with. You could choose as many or as few as you want. It’s a fairly long list.
amethyst (esp reduces withdrawal symptoms), ametrine, astrophyllite, barite, botswana agate, coral, chevron amethyst, chrysacolla with cuprite, citrine, danburite, dendritic agate, dravite, dumortierite, fluorite, galena, green calcite, herkimer diamond, iolite, labradorite, lepidolite, malachite-azurite, moki marbles, moss agate, nebula stone, obsidian, peridot, petrified wood, phenacite, quartz, rose quartz, rutilated quartz, sugilite (esp immune system problems from substance abuse), thulite (esp those caused by abuse/neglect), zircon
My choices would be lepidolite, amethyist, and Botswana agate. They're calming and balancing as well.
Best of luck with your quest to remain smoke-free!
