QUESTION: "What crystals or stones are recommended for pain?"
MY ANSWER: A number of stones are traditionally used in crystal healing for alleviating or reducing pain. Some are amber, amethyst, dolomite, green calcite, hematite, howlite, infinite stone, lapis lazuli, mugglestone (tiger iron).
I've heard particularly good stories about amber and infinite stone for easing pain. One fellow I knew used amber taped to his hip to overcome pain of a torn up hip joint. He surprised the doctors to no end when he suddenly could walk again with barely a limp.
An aspect of pain relief that is often neglected is the mental and emotional component. Crystals such as bronzite, chevron amethyst, dalmatian jasper, jasper, king cobra jasper, red jasper, richterite which are used for relaxation can also be extremely helpful for reducing pain. The same applies for stress relief stones such as calcite, chevron amethyst, dioptase, hematite, howlite, kunzite, labradorite, lepidolite, moonstone, peridot, picasso marble, rose quartz, smoky quartz, spinel, sunstone, and turquoise
Other crystals will surely be glad to help with pain too, just ask your favorite crystal.
Of course, if you have pain, see your healthcare professional.
